Christmas Nick-Nacks & Other Treasures
About Us
Welcome to Meyerwood!
I am Brad Meyer and along with my son James, we make up Meyerwood. I am a former Montessori teacher and with James, we have taught kids woodworking at schools all over the Seattle Eastside for the last two decades. We take great pride in teaching woodworking to the kids, as we see craftsmanship as being a lost art. But not on our watch!!
We started making our nutcrackers to honor my mom and James’s grandma. She made nutcrackers and would beautifully Toll Paint them. My mom was a real artist. She passed away in 2009. We love you mom!!!
Christmas is our favorite holiday which is why we make the Christmas ornaments, Toy Cars, as well as the Nutcrackers, large and small. All our creations are made for hardwoods, domestic and exotic. All these are handmade by James and I.
Please enjoy looking through our creations. We hope you find a treasure you like. Thank you!!!
